WHAT HAVE YOU LEARNED FROM AUDIENCE FEEDBACK?

From the feedback my teacher gave me on my mock digipack I was advised to make the barcode smaller, add legal text, add a cereal code and the logo of the music company my artist is signed to. This feedback was very vital as it improved the quality if my digipack as a whole because these elements are all conventions of existing artist’s Digipacks so this was vital that my artist used them as well so they look professional.

Some feedback that I gained from peers about my Digipack was to replace one of the artist images with an image that didn’t feature my artist in it as I had too many images that featured my artist which made my digipack look busy. I applied this feedback and changed what they advised as it made my Digipack look less cluttered and more sophisticated.

The feedback that I obtained from my teacher on my Mock magazine advert was to move the ‘CD. Vinyl. Download’ to the bottom left of the advert, this improved my magazine advert as it was more noticeable then I had previously placed it and made it clearer what the advert was advertising.

He also advised me that NME give /10 ratings instead of star ratings, I emended my mistake as this feedback made my magazine advert look more professional.

Some feedback that I did not agree with was that some peers advised me to use a different image of my artist for my magazine advert then I used on my Digipack cover. I did not use this feedback as I thought by having the digipack album cover as the main image for my magazine advert, it was clear what the advert was advertising at first glance.
